Twain’s continually looks for ways that we can lessen our impact on the environment.

Firstly, we’re brewing and pouring fine ales locally! No additives, no shipping, no packaging! Also, since opening in 1996, we have always recycled bottles, cardboard, and fryer oil, and now we donate the fryer oil to a local bio-diesel producer.

Other green efforts at Twain’s include:

• Use of non-plastic compostible to-go ware.
• Brewery’s spent grain used by local farmer for feed.
• Waterless urinals installed last year in restrooms.
• Low-flow fixtures installed in kitchen dishwasher.

We’re hoping to do more to help keep our land, water and air healthy now and in the future.
